The Transforce AT is Firestone’s On-/Off-Road Commercial Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of multipurpose full-sized pickups, vans, sport utility and commercial vehicles looking for heavy-duty light truck tires that can combine traction on the highway, as well as at work jobsites and recreation areas. The Transforce AT is designed to provide on- and off-road traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including snow.

Transforce AT radials feature a Long Link Carbon tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design that uses notched shoulders, independent intermediate tread blocks and multiple sipes to blend dry-road handling with poor weather traction. Wide circumferential grooves provide hydroplaning resistance while lateral grooves and multiple sipes provide the biting edges needed to enhance snow traction.

The tire’s structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon to help maintain the tire’s shape and enhance performance at highway speeds while a polyester cord body improves ride quality.

  1. I purchased this truck new with these tires and they have worn faster than any other tire I have ever owned. Do not run these tires in the mud you will get stuck. This will be the last set of Firestone tires on any truck I ever own again.

  2. These were OEM tires. Took them off at 10745 miles after first trip towing 36′ travel trailer with new truck. I spent most of the time white knuckling. I can’t say anything good about them.

  3. Highway and trailer a big boat twice a year. The tires are an embarrassment in the slightest snow ie. big truck 4wd should not be stuck all the time. They also wear quickly. Very disappointed

  4. These tires came new on my 2018 Ram 2500. These tire are marked as all terrain, but you will definitely get stuck in grass with these and if it’s wet grass you’re going to need 4wd. The first experience I had with mud with these tires was when my wife was trying to get around a road closure and ended up going down a mud road and getting stuck; she made it further in an economy car with highway tires than I did in 4wd and these tires. I’ve been stuck in grass and loose dirt more times than I can count with these tires. Wet weather traction is the worst of any tire I’ve ever had. I’m an easy driver and leaving a stoplight on wet pavement will spin the tires and the TCS kicks on. I’m a little over 20000 miles on these tires and they have almost worn all the way to the wearbars, Firestone was going to give me another set after they saw a review I had posted elsewhere about the wear and I wouldn’t take another set for free, so think about that before purchasing.

  5. These tires came on my brand new 2018 RAM 2500 Mega Cab purchased 14 months ago and at just about 15,000 miles they are almost completely worn out and after two rotations. I can not believe that a new truck at 15,000 would need new tires already. Sorry, but I won’t ever purchase a Firestone tire again…

  6. These tire came on my 2017 Ram 2500 diesel. The tires will make you carry a shovel and a winch with you! It has left me stuck on wet grass, mud and sand…if its wet, you will get stuck! Each time I was on flat level ground too! I would try to ease off in 4 wheel drive, once the tires spin one complete revolution they clog up and are essentially a slick tire. I bet I could wave a wet paper towel over the top of the truck and it would get stuck with these tires. They are a good highway tire but thats about it! I pull a camper and they do great on the highway but I also have to go across my property and if it the ground is damp or wet, I get stuck 75% of the time and Im guaranteed to get stuck 100% of the time if I have a 1500 lb trailer behind it.They have cost me a 180 dollars for a tow truck to pull me out and countless times Ive had to use a shovel. These tire should come with a free winch and mount!Im done with these tires, once the tread life is gone , I will stack them up on a top of each other, along a roadside with a banner that says “Monument to Disaster”

  7. Only tire I’ve ever owned that manages to get stuck in my work’s parking garage when the concrete is wet. I need a running start or 4wd to make it up the ramp due to a speed bump. I’ve had many other vehicles (different tires) that don’t get stuck. Of the several hundred people who come and go from this parking garage every day only the Firestone Transforce tires get stuck. Absolute worst traction and worse wearing tires ever.
