Kumho Solus XC is a Grand Touring All-Season tire. Grand Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.

O.E. Grand Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. Smoothest riding and least road noise of any tire I’ve had to date. Hangs onto corners like a much more expensive tire.I’d suggest if you’re in snow country to get snow tires installed, but get these back on asap in spring. I have a turbo and these tires will smoke easily, spin easily. I rate them so high because of their smooth, quiet ride.I drive long distances at times and it’s a pleasure with these tires.

  2. I put a lot of miles on the car in my travels in a short amount of time. What impresses me about these tires is that they make my Sonata Turbo corner what seems like as good as my Corvette. I’m blown away with their cornering traction on dry roads, and the security I feel on wet roads. Now as I go over 40,000 miles the front tread is getting low and they need replacing. Since I’m harder on tires than a lot of people I feel that they have done so well with the way I like to drive when there aren’t any people around on country roads. They will make some noise on bad road surfaces but they are quiet on good surfaces and they just WORK. I’m a Kumho fan now. A great tire for better pricing compared to a LOT of the competitors. I don’t get any of my vehicles out in ice or heavier snow conditions so I cannot say anything about those areas, but on dry, wet, or light snow, I feel very comfortable in them.

  3. Tthese tires came stock on my 2015 Sonata. It only has 21k miles on them, but need replacing soon. Rain traction is ok butt snow traction was pretty bad. I will not purchase these tires again as they have leftt me highly disappointed.
