Passenger All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a smooth ride, good wear and S- or T-speed rated durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Passenger All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on standard coupes, sedans and family vans, as well as some entry-level pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles.

O.E. Passenger All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. These tires came with my Corolla HB with 6 speed. I have not ridden any tires lower than high performance A/S for a long time. I am surprised that Toyota will put a low profile 18″ passenger touring tires on this car. This might be due to cost saving. and I think this tires is only good for conservative driving from point A to B. Every aspects of performance is below average and can’t compete with high performance A/S. I will switch to high performance A/S tires when I have sufficient budget. I haven’t drive this car at snow yet.

  2. Sub-mediocre performance on any sort of snow-covered surface. This is my 3rd Outback (1996 and 12007). I had 3 sets of tires on each of the previous two. These are the poorest tires in snowy/slippery conditions. Dry-road conditions are OK, given the handling of the newer/larger Outback.

  3. I have the Yokohama Avid-GT 18″ tires on my 2020 Outback. They seem to be very quiet and in rain (we do not have snow in South Florida)no slippage…. I was concerned since the traction rating is B … I went to Subaru to find out why they would put a B TRACTION rated tire on what is purported to be the safest car you can buy…. I was told that Yokohama makes this tire specifically for Subaru … they are considered very safe. SO we will find out as the miles and heavy rains are experienced, but so far they seem to be good.

  4. I have these Avid GTs on my Onyx XT and have had them out in snow covered dirt and gravel roads a lot and they have done just fine. Have never had to go into X mode yet. They have just plowed right through some 12 inch deep snow with not even much effort. No complaints from me.

  5. Thus far these tires have been good for daily driving. I have had the car for a few weeks and average about 500 miles / week. Living in Colorado, I have only seen sunshine and light snow so far. Awaiting to see how these tires will do on ice / deep snow, and then I will update the review. So far though, the tires have been good for OEM tires on a base model Subaru for every day driving.

  6. This is the stock tire on my new Subaru Legacy Limited XT and I was very pleasantly surprised. I’ve come to not expect the best from an OEM tire but these are excellent in every condition I’ve driven on. It will be a while before there’s any snow here to make any assessment on snow handling. But there has been a lot of rain since getting the car and these feel extremely secure, handling remains agile making me feel very confident on wet rainy roads. Dry handling has also been excellent with very good steering response and secure footing on twisty curving sections. In addition, perhaps not as important, these are very good looking tires. I’m proud to have them on my car and would definitely buy them again unless they prove horrible on snowy roads which I wouldn’t expect.

  7. All OE tires would pop almost instantly on a pothole I suspect due to the lip sidewall design. Tires handled beautifully but were very prone to bursts. Replacement tires also did the same not just the provided set. I did not but any pothole over 25mph.
