The N’Priz RH7 is Nexen’s Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for Original Equipment use on the select Mitsubishi and Kia vehicles. N’Priz RH7 tires are designed to combine comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.
The N’Priz RH7 molds a silica enhanced tread compound into a symmetric design featuring notched shoulder blocks, interlocking intermediate blocks and a continuous center rib to blend steering response and cornering capability with even grip and uniform wear. Four wide circumferential grooves promote water evacuation through the tread to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction.
The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon for strength and durability, as well as a 2-ply polyester cord casing that promotes good ride quality.
Founder at Tiresout. Used to be working as an engineer at Bridgestone Tires Akron Technical Center. The responsibilities included but were not limited to technical computing, indoor & outdoor testing of new tires.
These tires came with my Pacifica Hybrid van. They are decent tires in warm weather, with my biggest complaint being slightly more road noise than I’ve experienced with other tires. The tires are terrible in the snow. Braking, turning, and accelerating in the snow are extremely poor. I will be using snow tires for the winter, so this is not a major concern other than an unusually early snow storm I had to drive through. When these tires wear out, I will likely go with something different.
These tires are no good on wet, slick,or snow covered roads. I took them off my new van after 4,000 miles.
Our review Nexen N Priz tire after 20,000 miles driving. These tires are way better than stock tires that come with the Tacoma. Right off the bat, the tires are stiffer so they handle much better. The ride is comfortable and quiet. There were too many situations where we had to do Panic stops and the Nexen N Priz performed excellently and reliably. We would definitely buy this tire again. The majority of our driving is highway driving in Hawaii. No off-road driving.
