The Cinturato P7 tires featuring H- and V-speed ratings are Pirelli’s Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sport coupes and sedans. Pirelli’s warranty does not cover tires that develop compound cracking due to use in ambient temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius), so the Cinturato P7 tires, like all summer tires, are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The Cinturato P7 uses a low rolling resistance tread compound that features technologically advanced polymers to increase grip on wet and dry roads while it reduces vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that promotes even wear, improves ride comfort and reduces noise levels. A robust shoulder and continuous ribs on the outboard portion of the tire enhance lateral grip on dry roads while four circumferential channels provide efficient expulsion of water from the contact patch to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by nylon cap plies to provide high speed-durability.

My first set of tires since replacing the OEM tires were the P7’s. I was very impressed with their dry and wet handling. I loved these tires until 30,000 when I started hearing a noise that sounded like a wheel bearing going out. I took the car to the shop and asked their advice about the noise. There was no problem with the car so I now knew it was the tires making the noise. I now have 37,000 on these tires and can no longer stand the increasing noise. As for the tread on the tires, I still have about 1/2 life left in them. They continue to perform wonderfully, so I have a choice of using ear muffs or buying another set….In my opinion they are too expensive for the mileage you get out of them…
I swapped out the OEM Bridgestone RFTs for Pirelli Cinturato P7s and am glad I did. Although they are not run flats, they are noticeably quieter and the ride is much smoother. If they last well I’ll purchase another set.
Upgraded my OEM’s with less than 20,000 miles on the OEM Bridgestones. The OEM’s were horrible, noisy and you felt every seam or divot on the road. The P7’s were instantly quieter and rolled over most road blemishes like they were not even there. I’m driving a little faster now, because of the handling is so superior and smooth. My mileage has improved when using the cruise control vs the OEM’s. Very nice tires.
Excellent tire for 2012 Altima. I push it… it stays stable in the corners – sticks like glue to the road, no vibrations and stays balanced without issue, great in the rain – never hydroplanes, etc. Not much snow in Phx and don’t take it but would expect it to be good in the ice and fine in the snow.
Worst set of tires I’ve ever owned. Developed a balancing problem where they don’t stay balanced. Track very poorly, and harsh ride. Will not purchase Pirelli’s again
Car came with the All Season 235-45 18 Pirelli Centurato All seasons. Pretty much like the tires except the darn things are squirrely in corners at speed. Never had this sensation in any tire. Car is All Wheel drive Inscription which is not listed by TireRack when sizing and the specific Pirelli model is not listed this is as close as it comes. These are the only tires I have had on the car but I am unlikely to replace with these tires when the time comes. One reviewer claims close to 70k miles which is good from a wear standpoint but does not make me comfortable from a cornering perspective.
The tires on my new Audi A4 Avant are turning brown. Not sure what issue is as Pirelli has no clue. All A4 cars on dealer lot had same issue, except mine, but tires have now turned a brown color.Tires are stupid expensive. Seems there are better tires at lower price out there and I have tried many.I will probably buy Michelin PS2s next, which I have on my Audi A6.
I waited to write a review until we had a bit of snow and it happened this weekend. What a great tire! I can honestly say that it is one of the best all around tires I have had on my car. I will switch to my Blizzaks for the rest of the winter but these are some nice tires. The only thing I found with them was when new, they got “squirrelly” on grooved pavement but they have a bit of wear now and it is not as pronounced anymore.Without doubt, it is the best dollar value out there especially if you do not switch to winter tires, will not keep up with Blizzaks in the snow or ice but for normal winter driving they are commendable.Oh, and they are very quiet, important if you like to drive and listen to classical music! You will not be disappointed if you purchase this tire!
Outstanding tire for my vehicle. I have been a loyal Michelin customer for over 35 years. I would often replace non- Michelin stock tires within 3 to 5 k miles with a Michelin tire. Stock tires on the Mazda were Michelin energy s8. They were down to 3/32’s of tread after 26,000 miles. Seriously???? And I drive in the right lane and rotate every 4 to 5 k miles! Anyway, based on tire rack reviews and various consumer mag reviews went with the pirelli’s. Best tire purchase I have ever made. Bye bye Michelin!
This is a great tire for the Nissan Leaf if you don’t need to deal with below-freezing temperatures (ex California coast and South Florida). I swapped the OEM Bridgestones, which aren’t bad, with these. Performance is excellent. The car probably pulls .1g to .15g more than with the OEMs. I didn’t notice any change in range but didn’t measure.
I replaced the OEM Yokohama tires on my Forester with these Cinturato P7 tires and oh my goodness what a difference! These tires are very quiet and stick to the road like glue. I plan to put these tires on my wife’s Mini Cooper when she needs tires, they are absolutely the best tires I’ve had in a long while. I could not be happier with these tires! I thought the price was very reasonable compared to other choices and they look great as well. Coming out of the Yokohama Geolander OEM tires, these are noticeably quieter and grip the road much better. I ended up buying the V speed rating just because that’s what my local dealer had in stock, but the H rating would have been fine for this car. Highly recommend these tires.
Great tires! I am impressed compared to the Continentals that were on the car when I bought it. I can’t say enough about the efficiency, selection, and speed of delivery from Tire Rack. I will definitely continue to buy my tires through them.
I’ve been driving a LONG time in a lot of different conditions. In general, this tire is fine for average driving in city/highway under dry and wet conditions. I found that for an “all weather” tire, its performance in moderate snow was substandard, even in my all wheel drive X3 BMW. Not really bad, just a little disappointing for a tire that cost this much. I’ve got 33,000 on them now and I’d estimate another 5,000 before I must replace, but I’m going to Michelins now because winter is coming and these won’t get the job done at this point in their life.
Once broken in, these tires are great. At about 6000 miles of wear they really stick to the ground. Make sure to rotate often to keep them even. I’ve got stock size ( 205/55r16) on a diesel Sportwagen and they out perform the rest of the car. I’d say I have 2 more seasons on these. As they wear, they get stickier. Now that does mean less wet traction as the sipes wear down, but these are performance tires.
I have 40k on these tires and they have only 50% tread wear,,, I thought they were good tires other than I have to add air every 2 months the leak very bad.. We took a trip from LV to Tucson. Its an 8 hour drive across the worse red stat roads.. it the roads are total crap.. and just outside of Phoenix the side walk blew.. the damage was 4 inches.. maybe someone shot my tire.. or maybe it was an accident .. the sidewall had a 4 inch explosive zone. I took a picture forensics.. The only place that would stay open and get me back on the road was a discount tire in SUPRISE AZ.. they could not math the tire but gave the closest equivalent in a Perrelli they had in the same size.. The car drove OK but the Tire pressure lite came on again in 20 minutes. I expect this is because the new tire with full pressure triggers the system because of the difference in the diameter.. But it concerns me. I drive very fast.. 80-90 mph, and I am concerned the the P7 tires cannot handle this speed.. the discount tore put a Pirelli tire of the sam size but a different kind on my car.. it worked to get me on the road,, but I do not like Mismatched tires and the tire pressure lite came on again which means the tires are not the same size. The original have 40k on them and the new is zero miles.. I hope this is the problem.. I do not want to be left in the desert with a flat tire again. SO I want to know.. I drive this diesel at 90- 100 mph.. I want cheap tires that will do the every day driving and get good mpg.. but when I go on vacation I want 100mpg tires with a 60K warranty.. I want suggestions and pricing.. Price and warranty always wins..
Sept 2018 bought the P7s and I have 47k on them. They measure about 5 or 6 with my gauge so that’s pretty good wear. The old p7s went about 70K. I do 90% highway driving. They are starting to get noisy but I think all tires do after they wear. But new they are very quiet. Still i wish they were quiet until the bitter end. They are still good for full speed in the rain on the highway even with 47K. Truly amazing tires. I think that’s why people wreck in the rain. They have bad tires. Of course in dry they are phenomenal. PA hasn’t gotten too much snow in the past year but I feel confident in a freshly fallen snow as long as you are going a reasonable speed. I regularly rotate them and check the pressure and that’s important with any tire. Between these and conti extremes I get the one that’s cheaper and im happy with both.
Tires were original OEM on Audi A4-quattro. Rotated properly at 6 months or 5,000 miles. Tires are done at 24,500 miles (might be able to go another 1,000 max). Like most other reviews tires worked well when new and through the 20,000 mile marker but last 4,500 miles had noticeable increase in noise. Handling has held in there though all the way through when driven in dry conditions. Wet is a slight challenge due to the wear at this point but again up to the 20,000 mark no issues.Replacing with new Michelin’s A/S 4’s and see what happens
