Street/Sport Truck Summer light truck tires are for drivers who want to combine aggressive low-profile tires with large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle’s appearance. Sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles, Street/Sport Truck Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
O.E. Street/Sport Truck Summer light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed ratingto match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

These tires were New when I purchased my SRX. I have never had a set of tires that had so many issues in the Wet and Snow. In the rain, I have a multiple times that the ABS has come on for a normal traffic light stop. With a little water on the roads they start to hydroplane at around 50 MPH. Snow traction is non existent, the only tire that may do worse would be a racing slicks.Last year I did not dare take the SRX out during the winter for fear of getting caught in a storm. Which is sad that is why I have AWD or 4WD vehicles in Utah. They are some what noisy, but not too bad, part of that is the wheel balance and their tread life seems ok, They should easily make it to 60k, These will not make it that far on my SRX because they are going to be replaced soon. With something which has better wet and winter traction.
