Highway All-Season light truck tires are for drivers who want a combination of pleasant on-road characteristics, long wear and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Highway All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD, light- and medium-duty vans, trucks and pickups, as well as crossover and sport utility vehicles.

O.E. Highway All-Season light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. These are the OEM tires on my 2007 Toyota Landcruiser, and I won’t be buying another set. The biggest problem for me with the tire is wet traction and hydroplaning; it’s horrible. I travel back and forth from Ohio to Florida several times a year, and I just dread getting caught in a rainstorm on the trip with these tires. Feels like I’m skating on ice at highway speeds in the rain (I’m talking 60-70 mph in the rain, not 80-90); they have no feel for the road at all, and the back end will slip with even moderate acceleration in rainy conditions. I’ve got about 40000 miles on the tires and while I still have some tread left and in theory could run them probably another 10000 or so, I’m replacing them now before my next trip, because I don’t trust them. Snow performance isn’t great either, but with the 4WD and traction options on the Landcruiser I can still get through. Haven’t done much off road in other than in dry conditions on relatively flat ground so I can’t speak much to that.

  2. I am replacing my second set of Dunlops with BF Goodrich. This has not been a good tire. I will grant you that I am hard on tires (100,000) miles per year about 25% on unimproved roads, but I have had to replace one tire, I have had numerous flats, punctures, and sidewall issues than I care to mention. My previous two sets were Bridgestone Duelers and I got 118,000 miles out of that set–mostly highway at that time, but had few problems. Besides the quality issues with Dunlop, I think they wear way too quickly and the wet traction is not impressive at all. The main reason I bought the Dunlops were because my dealer had a “buy 3 get 1 free” deal. They would have to have a “buy 1 get three free” to get me back on those…not worth the trouble.

  3. I really expected more life from these tires, and they were great for a long time. Lately, though, they began to give me a host of problems, from pulling, not maintaining air pressure, and uneven wearing. I have rotated them on schedule, regularly check my pressure, and had the balance checked repeatedly. I can only assume the problem is with the tire somehow, as unlikely as that seems. (Also, in a Florida thunderstorm, they were never that great at preventing hydroplaning). So off I go to buy another brand…

  4. The worst tire I have encountered in over fifty years of driving. Original equipment tire on a Lexus LX470. Damaged side wall in 5K miles. Dunlap would not make adjustment. Also had trouble on a 2001 Toyota Sequoia with slipping belts. Replaced with Michelin Latitude tires and am completely satisfied.

  5. These are the stock tires on my 2009 Land Cruiser. For a $75,000 vehicle, you would think Toyota could afford to put a better quality tire on. I live in Colorado and the winter performance of these tires is horrible. All of the electronic traction control, stability control, etc. probably saved me. The tires did not.I had a 2001 Land Cruiser and it came stock with Dunlops. I went to Michelin Cross Terrains which improved handling, ride quality, and mileage.Wear at 10,000 miles has been good. I am down to 8/32 of an inch of tread left.Overall, with these tires my old 2001 Land Cruiser with Michelins handled better than the 2009 with the current tires.

  6. Only 5000 on them so far but I’m happy with them , time will tell, I’ll let you all know.
