The Energy Saver is Michelin’s fuel-efficient Grand Touring Summer tire developed for drivers that want to maintain/enhance their vehicle’s fuel economy without forsaking dry and wet traction. Originally introduced as Original Equipment (O.E.) on European passenger cars, Energy Saver tires are designed to complement vehicle operating efficiency and environmental impact by reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Like all summer tires, Energy Saver tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Energy Saver tires feature a low rolling resistance compound molded into an asymmetric tread design with smooth-rolling tread ribs to combine predictable handling, reliable stopping performance and respect for the environment. Circumferential grooves and lateral notches direct water through the tread design to help resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction.
Computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing methods have earned Energy Saver tires Michelin’s Green X status, identifying they are among the most fuel-efficient tires available today. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped fabric on top of a polyester cord casing to combine strength, efficiency and comfort.
Note: If available in an appropriate size for the vehicle, Michelin Energy Saver A/S All-Season Passenger car tires offer exceptionally low rolling resistance at or below the levels offered by Energy Saver summer tires.

Founder at Tiresout. Used to be working as an engineer at Bridgestone Tires Akron Technical Center. The responsibilities included but were not limited to technical computing, indoor & outdoor testing of new tires.
Worn out the front two after 30k miles, all 4 show age cracks around the side after 3 years.
good tire
I love these tires. They are a excellent for my Fusion. I’m going to the tire shop tomorrow to buy my second set. I have 53,500 miles on them and I probably could get another thousand or two. The ride is comfortable with good dry/wet traction. The tread wear is outstanding. What else could you ask for ? They are a little pricey. You get what you pay for when is comes to tires and most everything else.Yes, you will get better mileage, not a lot, one to two miles more. These tires rock. Just my two cents.
These are original tires. Think that Ford did an excellent job matching tire to car and it fits my driving style.
These tires were OEM on a 2007 Toyota Camry LE. My wife and I are easy going drivers and the dealer rotated the tires every 5000 miles. I maintained 32 PSI cold as recommended. The tires were completely worn out at 35K. I would not recommend these tires to anyone.
noisey, stiff feeling in a low end luxury car is a disappointment. Am upgrading to the Michelin Pilot Exalto.
