The Turanza EL400-02 and Turanza EL400 w/UNI-T are Bridgestone’s Standard Touring All-Season tires developed to meet the Original Equipment and replacement tire needs of drivers for their sporty coupes, sedans and vans. Turanza EL400 tires are designed to provide a luxury appearance, long wear and responsive handling along with dry, wet and year-round traction, even in light snow.

Bridgestone’s Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology (UNI-T) features three core elements: CO’CS, a Computer Optimized Component System which allows design and manufacturing processes to work more cooperatively, leading to a more effective tire that doesn’t significantly sacrifice one area of performance for improvements in another; O-Bead, a rounder bead structure that minimizes overlapped joints in the bead area for improved ride; and L.L. Carbon (Long Link Carbon) which helps the rubber compound resist microscopic tread tearing related to wear.

On the outside, Turanza EL400 tires features their tread rubber compound molded into a symmetric tread design with straight circumferential grooves to balance dry and wet road traction with noise comfort and hydroplaning resistance. On the inside, the Turanza EL400 features twin steel belts for strength and stability with a polyester cord body to enhance ride comfort.

*Specific sizes featuring UNI-T technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire’s Specs tab.

  1. These tires came OEM on my Lexus. While they lasted a reasonable amount of time, they were just truly awful. They could barely handle power application or cornering in a FWD car. Their wet traction was less than mediocre, and don’t even try taking them out when there’s even a light dusting of snow or ice. Get rid of these tires ASAP.

  2. Tires were the original on car when purchased. The dealer knew these tires were good enough “to get you out the door”.Tires were down to the wear indicators in 21,000 miles. Tires were rotated at regular intervals yet they showed signs of uneven wear and this was not due to an alignment problem. These tires were never driven in snow or on rough terrain. Any tire for sale should be able to deliver more than 21,000 miles. I do NOT recommend this tire to anyone

  3. These were the original tires on my 2015 Toyota Camry with V6 engine. These tires are not very quiet and they ride somewhat harsh. They do not provide good traction on wet roads. With 33,000 miles on the tires, it is time to replace to put some quiet back into this car. I believe these are a poor choice by Toyota as OEM tires on this car, especially for an XLE model. I look forward to a quiet ride with excellent handling in wet conditions with the replacement tires I have ordered (Continental PureContact LS).
