Goodyear’s Eagle Sport All-Season tire line includes H- and V-speed rated High Performance All-Season radials developed for the drivers of sports cars, coupes, sedans and performance-oriented light trucks looking to combine sporty handling with all-season traction. Eagle Sport All-Season tires are designed to offer drivers all-season versatility in dry and wet conditions with year-round traction, even in light snow.

The Eagle Sport All-Season features an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a large surface tread contact area asymmetric design to offer consistent performance across a broad range of vehicles. Linked outboard shoulder blocks backed by notched center ribs and connected inboard shoulder blocks enhance steering response, handling and wear. Circumferential grooves help evacuate water to increase traction in wet weather, while full-depth sipes preserve foul-weather traction as the tire wears.

The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability. One of the Eagle Sport All-Season tire line’s highlights is its internal construction that features Goodyear’s RaceWrap Construction Technology developed for the Eagle Race tires used in NASCAR competition. RaceWrap Construction Technology brings a polyester cord casing ply down the sidewall at a slight angle, wraps around the bead and returns it all the way up the sidewall until it ends under the edge of the steel belts. This slightly angled, two-ply sidewall enhances steering response and handling stability.

  1. Have been very satisfied with these tires since I bought them a short while ago. They offer much better handling and control in the curves. Sending a big thank you to Sonny and Tucker for their patience and time spent on the phone. Am glad I didn’t buy the grand touring tires – I don’t think I would have been as satisfied. With a front strut brace and front sway bar, the Eagle Sports give the car even more control. The car is a little noisy to begin with so tire/road noise isn’t an issue. I would recommend the Eagle Sports for vintage sports car enthusiasts who desire more control than a touring tire.

  2. 255/50R-19 GOODYEAR EAGLE SPORT ALL-SEASON (H- OR V-SPEED RA XL) – 2011 Acura MDX Advanced PackageBought these to replace a set of Falken tires that still had plenty of tread left on 2011 MDX Advanced package. Had no expectations other than I wanted a good all around tire for SoCal driving. In a nutshell, they’ve exceeded my limited expectations and keep getting better as they break in. Drove from San Diego to AZ with them new and they were quieter, smoother, more responsive and simply felt really good. I kept telling my wife how good they drove. As I approach 1000 miles, they have become even quieter and seem to have an even smoother feel on the road with noise reduction (lack of it) getting even better – but they are good from the start! Traction is great and steering feel is easier/better. They are a really good set of tires so far. Highly recommend. Two thumbs up to Tirerack. I ordered on a Thursday, they shipped the next day to my local choosen tire shop and were installed on Friday and on the road Sat. Tirerack sure makes it easy to buy and get tires delivered quickly.

  3. This is a better than average all season tire. Their is a very limited selection of Hi Performance All Season tires for my 2004 Honda Civic. This is one of them. And if I had kept up with my tire rotations I would not have to replace these tires now, at 43000 miles. I’m sure I would have made it to 50K. My Bad. But all in all. For the price . A very good tire. I just bought another set.

  4. My ‘12 Genesis Coupe 2.0t rSpec originally came with 19 inch rims that were dinged and dented f I’m NYC roadway potholes so I switched to 18inch rims so I oversized the tires from 225/40 and 245/40 x 19’s to 235/45 and 265/45x18s.Now I get a smoother ride alaround. Plus no fishtails under high speed cornering and sustained exit turns.Yup best choice for tires. In all seasons,

  5. THIS TIRE IS THE LONGEST LASTING TIRE I HAVE HAD SINCE ALL THE OTHERS FAIL RATHER QUICKLY DUE TO POT HOLE SIDE WALL BLOW OUTS. IT IS CRIMINAL TO PUT THESE LOW PROFILE TIRES ON SEDANS AND EXPECT THEM TO LAST. I GO THROUGH ABOUT 6-8 TIRES ON EVERY 3 YEAR LEASE AND I AM DONE!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR WITH A SIDEWALL RATIO LESS THE 50. THE CAR AND TIRE INDUSTRY HAS CREATED A BONANZA FOR THEMSELVES IN TIRE,WHEEL AND FRONT END REPLACEMENTS AND REPAIRS. THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. THE TIRE SHOPS ARE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK AND CONSUMERS ARE SUFFERING

  6. This review does not apply to Subaru Outback factory suspension. I was not happy with the soft suspension, especially with loads and lack of crisp handling. I installed RalliTek springs, Bilstein B6 struts and a 20mm rear sway bar. My thanks to TireRack for helping me get my hands on one of the first Bilstein B6 struts brought to the US.These tires replaced Firestone Destination LE2’s which were satisfactory for a highway truck type tire. My Subaru dealers gets their tires from TireRack so I know I am getting the best advice. At first they suggested the WeatherReady but it was very harsh, felt like 50lbs of air in the tires. Using the 30 day trial period they suggested the Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season. I couldn’t be more pleased. The responsive handling on two lane mountain roads is great, steering response and control is what I was looking for. The ride is firm but only harsh over poor road surfaces but to be expected with suspension mods. What really surprised me was the increase in mpg. On our usual semi annual road trip on once section of the highway I averaged 41mpg, before never getting above 37. During previous trips I would average about 28mpg for the trip, with the Goodyear’s it was 30. My around town mpg has increased about 2mpg. Some reviews commented about noise. I found the noise to be slightly louder but not a problem, until a recent trip. Over the coarse road surfaces in Oregon and Washington the noise was so loud it would put studded snow tires to shame. If I lived there I would immediately go back to the dealer for different tires.Unable to comment on rain and snow yet. And for winter I run snow tires. Some reviews of Tires comment how good the tire looks, never understood what they meant until I saw the Eagle Sport on the Outback. It seems to better fill the tire well and the tire looks wider even though standard size.
