The Ventus V2 concept2 (H457) is Hankook’s High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of mid-level sports cars, sports coupes and performance sedans looking for dynamic styling and all-season performance. Designed to combine a cutting-edge appearance with responsive performance, the Ventus V2 concept2 delivers all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

Ventus V2 concept2 tires feature a high-grip, silica-enhanced tread compound to combine all-season traction with lower rolling resistance that promotes vehicle fuel economy. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediate blocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermediate tread blocks and engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote foul-weather traction.

The tire’s internal structure features two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped, high-density nylon to aid in maintaining footprint contact pressure to enhance overall cornering and handling performance. High-hardness bead fillers in the sidewalls promote handling and steering response.

  1. its a great tire great grip the entire life of the tire. by no means are these snow tires. rain and wet ground no problems

  2. bought a set a couple years ago and just hit a big pothole which took out a front tire. ordered 2 more to replace both front. thank you for the quick shipping

  3. These tires are good for my aggressive driving, but only in dry weather. Traction on rainy days is pretty poor, but if you take it easy it is workable. Even launching normally the tires may slip. Coming from this, I expect these tire to do pretty bad in the snow. Pretty good value for price. Do not expect good traction in wet conditions even if you drive slightly aggressive.

  4. Tire is not safe at any speed. Rear in breaks away at just 26 mph in a curve, dry, temp 45. Putting old tires back on, what a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS TIRE!!!!!!

  5. Contrary to other reviews, I found these tires to be exceptional. I drive anywhere from 25k – 40k miles a year for recreational reasons and drive spiritedly so I go through tires quickly. These tires are quiet, grip so well (dry, haven’t driven in rain yet), and they’re probably the most comfortable performance tires I’ve ever had. I was going to get Michelin PS/2 but others in a GTI forum recommended these especially for the value per price. I have to agree with the forum, per dollar (half the cost of PS/2) these have been the best tires I’ve put on my GTI.

  6. After driving the car on these tires for a while in the city i felt as if the side walls were a bit soft as i would feel the rear of the car “body roll” but it was the actual side walls walking to the sides but lowered the psi about 10 psi and flt amazing and way more responsive

  7. I already on this tire about 6000 miles. Everything is good except the sound level, the noise is noticeable especially on highway… After 5000 miles the tire getting a bit hard & stiff
