Grand Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.

O.E. Grand Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. OEM supplied tires on my Civic. They wore surprisingly well and I pretty much get spec MPG but holy cow they are loud. I get horrific hums on the freeway even with an excellent balance and proper inflation. Overall traction is okay for moderated driving but they really loose traction fast with acceleration and when it rains you pretty much have to drive like your grandma or you will spin them uselessly. I do however note that dry stopping power is respectable and wet stopping is a bit better than I would have expected. IMO, don’t get these tires if you spend a lot of time on the freeway or tend to like some pep in your drive.

  2. Not good in ice and slick snow. I’ve gotten stuck twice on the very slight hill I live on because these just do not have any traction in slick conditions, especially if you have to come to a full stop. Fine in all other conditions though. I haven’t found myself hydroplaning at all in the almost 3 years I’ve had them.

  3. I’ve never had a issues with these tires, after 29000 miles they still look new. They are on the louder size. Solid traction in the winter. Solid traction in the rain.

  4. The FT140 tire came with my 2018 Malibu. I know some have reviewed this tire favorably; but they must be deaf. These tires are excruciatingly loud at any speed above 50 MPH. They seem to handle decently and look like they will last a long time. The problem with this tire is that it is so loud on the highway that it makes driving miserable. Some may say maybe its the car…but it is not. If you get a great deal on these and only drive city; then maybe they are for you. If you like to have a nice comfortable and quite ride; then look elsewhere. I would not recommend this tire at all. To me it is well worth spending a little more and having a quiet tire.

  5. This is the tire that came with my Camry. Overall 48,000 miles on the stock tires is pretty good. However as others have stated, these tires are fairly loud. Additionally, I live in an area where it rains a lot. I’ve found in the rain these tires are not as confident as I would hope. Bottom line: not a bad tire. Just not a great tire either.

  6. 52k miles! The ft140 came on my malibu 1.5.First these tires are great. You must know, any tire will —- on ice. This car is fwd, and a small 1.5 4cyl. Weight has alot to do with traction in any condition. So, that being said, when people leave bad feedback, what are they reviewing? The tires or the car the tires are on??.Second, and review with less than 15,000 miles is invalid. You cant not review a tire in 200 miles. The ft140 is wearing great. I’ve had it in every road condition.The tire is doing exactly what it should be doing. I rotate every oil change.A dealer didnt rotate my tires once during a free oil change, said they looked good and didnt need rotation. Do not buy into this Rotate your tires when your owners manual says to even if you cant see any wear. That’s the key, do it before it needs it, to achieve even wear and tire life. I drive city and interstate. 100 miles a week day.Rain: I run 70+ and never hydroplane, now if the road is complete crap and has lots of standing water, sure it’s very possible. Snow: Even in the worst of snow storms (6inches snow average) ive got around just fine. Ice: Once the depth of ice was 1 or 2 inches solid on the road. I drove about 35mph for 50miles and didnt have any problems.Tread: 52k miles and not at the wear bars yet, guessing around 60-65k they will be due.Price: Im probably going to go with a more higher mileage tire next. I do not care the price. This tire is a good price for what you get.
