Falken WildPeak A/T3W A is an On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire. On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tires are for drivers who want a combination of customary on-road capacity, enhanced off-road capabilities and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tires branded with the M+S symbol are sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on light and medium-duty 4WD truck, pickup and sport utility vehicles.

O.E. On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. I put a set of BF Goodrich All/Terrain on my truck to replace the factory Good Year Wranglers with factory 20 inch X 9 inch rims which I purchased new. The Truck had 25000 miles on it. I decided to put a leveling kit on the truck and a new alignment. After 15,000 miles the BF Goodrich tiers. were shot. Belts sand noisy also rode terrible not to mention traction on ice was horrible. I ended up putting these Faulknin tiers on the truck at 62000 miles. I now have 86460 miles on the truck and no problems at all. Note when I put the Faulkin tiers on I had a alignment done . The Dealership which aligned it before said the angles were perfect. Why pay $1200 for a set of BF Goodrich when you can buy the Faulkin Wild Peak at $850.00 have a lot better tire !!!!

  2. These tires go through mud without getting stuck at 35,000 miles. The factory tires would spin and get stuck when new. Getting worn now but I am happy with their service. Will try to replace with same tires again.

  3. These tires have lived up to the mountain snow rating and then some, providing excellent traction to get through Maine’s snowy Winters and muddy Springs. The lateral traction when taking turns in the snow was a huge improvement over the stock tires and other AT tires I’ve used on an older Tundra (*cough* BFG). These things are QUIET as well, as long as you rotate front to back (cambered roads cause a wear pattern that becomes noisy if cross rotating -it’s a Maine road issue, not a tire issue). Tread wear is good so far. The tires came with 20/32″ (closer to 19 when measured) and they now have 15/32″ after 15,000 miles (mostly 55mph country roads and highway). I should get 55k miles out of these, which is similar to what I got with BFG AT KO’s in the past. On ice, these do very well in regards to taking off, but like anything else, stopping on ice isn’t the best. That said, they seem to stop the truck much sooner than the stock tires ever did and they keep the truck going straight. Grip on pavement is literally life saving. A car pulled out in front of me as I was going 45 mph and slamming on the breaks stopped the truck just in time to avoid a collission. I couldn’t believe how quick the truck stopped and in such a short distance. The same happened when a deer jumped out in front of me and I was equally impressed with the stopping distance. I’m very pleased with the performance of these tires and to top it off, I receive tons of compliments on how aggressive they look for an AT tire (mounted with raised letting out). Assuming I do get 50k miles out of them, I’ll be buying another set for sure.

  4. Bought these tires based on reviews across the internet. Unfortunately my experience has not been good. Front end vibration from day one. A wheel alignment and rebalance of tires twice still vibrating. Tires will be going back to tire shop under warranty claim.

  5. I bought these tire from a competitor of TR to replace my KO2’s and also for the price savings and they came with full road hazard warranty. I hauled a large uhaul trailer to AZ from MA and grip and traction was not an issue. I also decided to take my tundra on some light rock climbing with my brother in law whom happens to do allot of off road business work and runs the KO2’s . Needless to say he and I were pleasantly surprised. The handling was fantastic we made it all the way to the gorge in 2 wheel drive even on the down slope pitch. On the return back up the mountain had to toss it into 4 wheel drive so the truck could climb the rocks. That’s where it blew both of us away the grip was perfect no slipping on any dust covered rocks. If anyone knows Sedona AZ they will know where this swim hole is and they will say do not take this trail lightly. All we’ve seen on it while we were their were jeeps and even they were impressed. I can say I watched a short video on these tires and all they showed was traveling on sand which does not do it justice. I really wish I had recorded it to prove what I did. All I have is my word and our family’s and yes would recommend these tire to anyone who is going to buy any type of A/T tire.

  6. After 8,200 miles approximately 25% of the useable tread depth is gone. The tires are wearing a bit faster than I anticipated, but I’m not terribly surprised since most of my driving is mixed city/highway and these “snowflake” rated tires are softer than typical road tires. I bought these as snow-rated all reason tires to provide a measure of control and comfort during New England winters and with the express purpose of putting a tire on my Tundra to improve stopping distance, which is fair to middling with long tread wear street tires. Overall very satisfied with performance.
