Dunlop SP Sport 5000 DSST CTT is an Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tire. Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are designed for driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, responsive handling and Z-speed rated (or higher) durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, performance coupes and high performance sedans.

O.E. Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires’ performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Limited sizes of the SP Sport 5000 DSST CTT are available with Dunlop’s Noise Shield Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

  1. Complete garbage tires in all aspects, there is not one good thing about these tires. Please do not buy.

  2. I bought my 2015 Q50S with 29000 miles I didn’t even put a thousand miles on them. I hit a pot hole and blew my side wall out 4″ gap on side of the rim. Yes they got me back in one piece but only because I drove slow because it was wet out. If I even drove the speed limit when the roads were wet my seat belt was on and I was in eco mode half scared to even go around a curve at more than 40 mph. Almost slammed into a highway wall once not even being wreckless. For real these are the worst tires I have ever owned and will never own again. If I had known this about these tires might not of even gotten the car.BUYER BEWARE. THEY ARE LIKE A BIG WHEEL ON CONCRETE IN THE WET WEATHER. YOU WILL SLIDE WITH NO CONTROL

  3. So disappointed in my infiniti. My past 2 leaves with infiniti, well I did not have to change any tires from.beginning to end. With these tires, I replaced one this may due to the sidewall blowing out, and now its October and the other 3 are worn down and eont pass inspection. No way I’m paying $2000 for these tires. Ride was always loud and felt like the car was slipping on dry roads. Stay away.

  4. I’ll just put it this way – I was certain these were made out of balsa wood, until I encountered a pothole, which proved that I was driving on something far less flexible. I’m beyond hating these and being upset with them, and am actually impressed by how terrible of a tire Dunslop has managed to produce. I’ve settled on Continental DWS06 as a replacement, and figured I’d take a look at these quickly, as I assumed it was the low price that convinced Infiniti to turn their Q50s into death traps by equipping these tires as OEM equipment. I’m thankful that they exist, and that they exist in this price category. Not only did I spend solid 3 minutes laughing at the price, I’m also extremely excited to perform the biggest improvement on a vehicle in the history of mankind, by swapping these for literally any other other tire.It is comical that these exist, and that Nissan group has decided that they are acceptable to be used on any of their cars. My 25 year old RWD Nissan 240sx on 500 dollar set of BFGs is far safer to drive than a 2015 AWD “luxury sport” sedan, and that’s an understatement of this century. This hybrid spins all 4 wheels in the dry when accelerating, drifts across lanes of highway with slight breeze in the rain, and is basically uncontrollable the snow. It does all this while producing about as much road noise as an average fighter jet on take off, and riding like something out of Flintstones. Infiniti of Bellevue has replaced 3 of them over the course of 12k miles, due to them de-laminating and bubbling, (which they are all doing again) and I can not fathom why they didn’t just throw on a new set of literally anything else, and saved themselves a bunch of money. But hey, at least you can drive a few miles at 40mph if you have a blowout, although you’d be better off, and safer, just by sitting in your car in the middle of a poorly lit highway at night, than driving on these. 1/10 – would be safer, quieter and more comfortable on wooden wagon wheels

  5. These came OEM on my 2015 Infiniti Q50 S. They were pretty good for the first 10,000 miles, then got loud and performance has suffered. One of the tires popped after hitting a pretty insignificant pothole on the highway. The runflat did allow me to get off the highway safely.I will not be purchasing this tire again.

  6. Very disappointed that Infiniti does not use a quality OEM tire for a Q50S Red Sport performance AWD sedan.

  7. The other reviews are very accurate and represent my experience with these tires.Horrendous. Terrible. Dangerous. A total pain. Took what is a great car and made it a chore to drive.I live in the tri-state area and don’t think these tires can manage at all in an environment with cold or wet weather. This tire will catch a bubble and/or burst at the slightest pot-hole. It’s actually shocking how weak the sidewall is. In the last 2.5 years, I have gone through 7 tires. I currently have bubbles on three tires and just can’t be bothered to spend another Saturday at the dealership to have them replaced. It’s shocking that these tires are still for sale, let alone OEM equipment. A total joke.I plan to spend my own money to put a different tire on instead of having the dealership switch out the same tires again under the warranty.TLDNR; DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES. YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY REGRET IT.
