Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season run-flat light truck tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are for drivers who want a combination of sophisticated low-profile tires and large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle’s appearance with all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season run-flat tires branded with the M+S symbol are sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD light- and medium-duty crossover and sport utility vehicles.

O.E. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season run-flat light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires’ performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner’s manual.

  1. This is the updated version of the tire for this SUV. Unfortunately no one else makes a runflat in this size. My one and only complaint is that I immediately saw my fuel mileage drop by roughly 2 miles per gallon. Nothing changed except the tires.

  2. Excellent tire considering it was OEM equipment on the GLK series. I have been a Michelin snob for years, however these Dunlop tires are smooth, quiet and capable. I expected these tires to wear much faster due to the relatively low tread wear index (200) and the AWD configuration of the vehicle. However, the rear’s made it to 44000 and were only replaced due to a puncture (and a mild case of OCD). Could not replace only one tire, so both rears were replaced. The fronts have another 5-7K before the wear bar is exposed. Previous Dunlops did not impress me, but these are competent shoes for the wife’s gomobile. Much of the driving experience is on rain slicked roads in FL and these tires offer a very high degree of traction which equates to confidence that is much appreciated by the wife as she drives all over the state on business. I recommend these.

  3. These are the OEM tires that came on the vehicle. I am currently at 49,500 miles and still have about 50% tread left. I honestly feel I could easily get to 70,000 on these but won’t push them that far. The dealer has quoted me $350 installed vs. $333 here on TR. So the price is a little better here. I know driving styles vary greatly, as do road conditions, but I would expect folks could get significantly better mileage from this tire than those quoted here by others. My driving is mostly California freeway with some mountain road trips. I think you need to judge your driving style and decide for yourself. I think this tire is really good for my driving conditions. I am beginning to look for a new set now because vehicle does not come with spare. Will most likely replace them around 60,000 miles just to be on the safe side.

  4. These were the OEM tire on our 2014 MB GLK. The diesels don’t get a spare due to the DEF fluid tank taking up space where the spare would reside. Anyway…These seem to be perfectly matched to this vehicle and the driving style of my wife, who routinely puts hundreds of miles on them each week with her commuting. The wet traction and resistance to hydroplaning is among the best we have experienced since moving to a very rainy Florida. The wear is also much better than we anticipated, having other run-flat type tired which lasted between 22k and 25k miles. We recently replaced the rears due to a puncture in one (OCD forced me to replace at the rear together). The fronts still have another 5000 miles before treadwear indicators are flush. Where was I? Oh yes…Cornering with the GLK is decent, and these tires seem to allow a slightly more aggressive style than might otherwise be attempted with a small SUV. There is a sweeping acceleration lane with a decreasing radius turn merging to I95 that I could get to 70+ with the 328i and the Michelins, The MB will hold snug to around 61, at which point my nerve gives. No slipping, or indication of loss of traction. I highly recommend this tire where for applications requiring mileage, traction, especially wet traction.

  5. Great tire all around tire. $$$$. Treadwear is not great. Last pair lasted 40k miles, I experienced some wobble and eventually the tread blew out damaging the inner wheel well. My fault for ignoring the wobble and running them down to (not past) the wear bar. .
