Standard Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of sporty appearance, long wear, predictable handling and S- or T-speed rated durability, along with all-season traction including in light snow. Standard Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sporty coupes and sedans.

O.E. Standard Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

  1. I had these tires on my Camaro for 80,000 miles, they did everything I asked of them. They took all spirited driving great as well as getting me through a blizzard, where I was the only car on the road. The ride was great, they handled wet roads with ease.

  2. Noisy, developed bulges at about 25% treadlife left, wore evenly as far as tread went until it started bulging, bad for winter. My $50 walmart tires were better, had less noise and rode nicer. Better on ice and snow then these. Would not recommend for this price

  3. When I bought my 2001 GMC Sonoma brand new, it had Goodyear tires on it. They lasted right at 60,000 miles. I then went to a Firestone Fire Hawk tire. They lasted 85,000 and were fantastic the whole time. This last set were the Traction TA’s and they are suppose to be an 80,000 mile tire. I have about 53,000 miles on them and they are shot. They were noisy and very rough riding. There is no way I would buy them again. So now at 200,000 miles on my truck my next set will be a Cooper tire in a couple weeks here. If they would still make the Fire Hawks in my size (235/55/16) I would of bought those forever. But I would avoid the Traction TA’s if I were you.

  4. I installed these BF Goodrich Tractions at 25,000 miles hoping “traction” meant better winter traction than the OEM Goodyear Eagles. But the BF Goodrich Tractions don’t have very good traction at all. They are not good in snow. And most annoying, my 100 HP Scion xB can break traction in 1st gear accelerating up a wet hill. I am afraid to apply power in any gear going around a wet corner. The BF Goodrich Tractions are also stiff-walled and bumpy, making me think my car needed new struts and shocks at 50,000 miles. But after getting General AltiMAX Arctic tires for winter use, I felt how smooth the ride can be, so I don’t need new struts/shocks yet. After 25,000 miles, the BF Goodrich Tractions have a lot of tread left, but I am replacing them with General AltiMAX RT43 tires which are reviewed as having good wet traction and a soft ride.

  5. I’ve had these for 4 years and 40K miles. Initially I was quite disappointed with wet traction, especially on the highway: felt I would hydroplane. For new tires, they were worse than what I’d had on before (don’t remember what those were, though). Also found tread now worn, faster than I anticipated. If they had a 60K mile treadlife warranty, well, they haven’t lasted that.

  6. One of the happier days in my life was when I replaced these tires. I had a good experience with an older tread pattern Traction TA on an older Town and Country and a Malibu, but this tire was what was available for my 2006 T&C.These tires were noisy, had awful wet traction (my wife complained all the time about them), were not very good in snow (though better than the original equipment Yokohamas). The dry handling was fair at best.Worst of all, I had at least one defective tire that caused my van to pull to one side. I had had my struts and shocks replaced at the same time and spent a couple hundred dollars chasing what I thought was a a suspension/alignment problem, but was really tire problems. My recommendation is that there are much better tires available for less money.

  7. Great tires. Little high priced but to me worth it. I have a 03 S10 Xtreme with some suspension work done to it and drive it hard for what it is an find out these T/A… Are very grippy. Wet or shine they do well but cant say much for ice or snow. More of a performance tire. Will be buying these again.
